Adding Templates to NewStar Lineups

After enabling NewStar communication with OverDrive and the NewStar to XML Utility, OverDrive templates can be added to a NewStar lineup.

OverDrive Templates are added to a story segment by entering the Master template ID in the OVR lineup column. All story segments that have an OverDrive template associated with them are tagged as OverDrive segments, and updated automatically by the NewStar to XML utility.

NewStar lineups with OverDrive templates must have shot details entered after the lineup is opened as a rundown in OverDrive.

To add an OverDrive template to a NewStar lineup:

1.Open the NewStar lineup to which to add OverDrive templates.

2.In the OVR column of each story segment to edit in OverDrive, enter the OverDrive template ID.

3.Save the story segment.

The changes are automatically updated in the lineup file.
